1. Who is responsible for products used for the service?

Service providers are responsible for bringing the correct products they need to provide the service they offer customers.

2. How do i prepare for my appointment?

For a blowout or braid, we request you have “Wet Hair, In The Chair.” This means you should wash your hair 10-15 minutes prior to the appointment so your hair is damp but not soaking wet. For updos, no need to shampoo before your appointment. Dry hair is best, and we recommend you wash it the day before your appointment to see the best results. For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed and moisturized face prior to our artists’ arrival. For manicures and pedicures, please have your nails free of any gel, shellac or other nail treatments. Our beauty professionals will have products and tools with them, but please let them know if you have any allergies or specific concerns. PURPOSS loves your pets but some of our beauty professionals are allergic or scared. If you could please crate animals before we come, it would be optimum for the safety of our hair stylists. We ask that you have a place to sit near an electrical outlet and a flat surface so we can plug in our hairdryers and lay out our tools/products. It is very important that you are ready for your PURPOSS appointment on time.

3. How does safety work?

Customers give service providers their address. Service providers can let someone know the address. Service providers can snap a picture of the customer's location and send it to trusted contact. Sometimes clients have kids or work & don't have the time or patience to travel to the salon or studio. Other times bridal parties may be at their hotel getting ready for a wedding or a person may have a disability and might be looking for a mobile massage therapist.

4. What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you have any changes in your schedule and need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible at: pay@purposs.com with your name, the time of the original appointment and the desired change, but please note our cancellation policy below. If you cancel within four hours, but at least one hour prior to your appointment time you will be charged 50% of the list price. Appointments canceled within one hour of the appointment time and no-shows will be charged the full list price for the services selected. For appointments scheduled for 8:00am or earlier we require that you notify us by 8:00pm the prior evening, or you will incur the 50% cancellation charge. All cancellations on services booked with packages or coupons will result in the loss of that appointment from the package or forfeiture of the coupon. *Note: Purposs is a free app for Customers to download and it's available in IOS and Android app stores.
